Challenging PDGM Scenarios HHAs Face: Focused on Intake and Coding

Two of the five  PDGM subgroups are directly linked to coding: Clinical Grouping and Comorbidity Adjustment.  During this webinar, we will answer important questions such as: What happens when the only diagnosis you have from the physician is an unaccepted diagnosis?  What if the clinical record doesn’t align with the primary diagnosis?  What about comorbidities? We will also review issues that can arise with ICD-10-CM coding under the PDGM,  primarily through case study analyses.  Finally, we will discuss action plans that home health agencies can implement in order to remain viable under the PDGM.
