Home Health and Hospice Consultants:

ACHC has revamped its entire Consulting Certification course for Home Health and Hospice providers. Consultants can now expect an incredible two- or three-day overview of the ACHC process and standards, depending on the services they wish to consult for.

• Day 1, July 8: Hospice CoPs
  • Consultants seeking to become an ACHC Certified Consultant in Hospice

• Day 2, July 9: ACHC Core Standards and Process
  • This instruction will be applicable to every program. The course material will cover the ACHC application and survey processes and also go in-depth about the post-survey details.

• Day 3, July 10: Home Health CoPs*
  • Consultants seeking to become an ACHC Certified Consultant in Home Health

*Any consultant wishing to seek training for Private Duty Certified Consulting should plan to attend Day 2 and Day 3.  

Pharmacy Consultants:

ACHC is offering a one-day intensive course for consultants wishing to become ACHC certified. This course will cover the pharmacy standards in depth and review the ACHC Accreditation process in great detail.

Some DMEPOS standards will be covered during this one-day training, but the primary focus will be on pharmacy standards.

All Consultants:

At the end of the training a comprehensive exam will be given, and consultants will have up to two tries to pass this exam.* We are excited to offer this extensive educational approach to our consultants as we help them become ACHC certified.

*If a consultant does not pass the exam after the second attempt, they will have to retake the course.

Upon completion of the course and passing of the exam, consultants will be given access to a new and improved ACHC consultant listing on ACHC.org. Consultants will be able to personalize their listing, along with adding important details about their services and offerings.
